What is it?
The ASR-100 is a subnet router. A subnet router creates a dedicated network. We've tuned the ASR-100 for music streaming and local stored audio (or AV) media. Improving the quality of your streamed audio. The ASR-100 subnet provides an isolated signal, meaning it is unaffected by other network activity in your home, so no more network conflicts disturbing your listening – smiles all around! The ASR-100 subnet router also eliminates all network variables and configuration – it just works!
What does the ASR-100 do?
The ASR-100 Subnet Router creates dedicated connectivity for; Streamers, Music Stores, Control App Tablet or Phone, Backup Storage, ROON Core sources... etc. In a crowded home WiFi environment where audiophiles struggle to keep signals clean enough for good audio signals – especially when streaming music – the ASR-100 provides clean access to your streaming services, and isolates the HiFi network from any access or control other than on this subnet. An optimised UPnP / DLNA allows for reliable discovery of audio, and greatly improves stability and sound quality. This only gets better when the ASR-100 is teamed with other digital optical audio products from ADOTs range, or data switches from other audiophile brands like DELA.
How to use the ASR-100
Plug it in, and connect to existing home
network. Connect your devices, connect your tablet or phone to Wi-Fi signal ADOT MUSIC – and enjoy!
Or choose total isolation
Alternatively create a totally isolated stand-alone network by simply not connecting to the existing network. Complete freedom from all external influences!
